    sir u said all carbohydrates are sweet in taste then what about polysachrides they are tasteless is it becoouse of our tongue receptors that can not detect its taste becouse ofit is large molecule or it is actually tasteless

    Polysaccharides are not actually tasteless

    Because they are very large molecules that's why they don't get fit in the binding site of receptors in our tongue!
