Sir I have a question that those elements which make unipositive charge they are called metals , e.g Group 1 of  a periodic table  , are consists on metals bcz they have an ability to loss an electron but I want to ask that iron  is also metal then why it has a different group ....

Dear, metals are those who have free electrons in their valence shell, its not necessary to be unipositive for conduction. Metals can  possess 1+,2+,3+ and so on charges. Iron[fe] is also metal but as we know elements are arranged in order by increasing their atomic number, that's why Iron and Sodium are placed in different groups.(iron is transition metal, sodium is alkali metal). details are present in the book.                                                                                    Thanks.
